Popis:	Experience has shown that prior to hospitalisation in the Regional Alcoholism Unit, patients take a wide variety of drugs in addition to alcohol [1]. In view of the known interactions between alcohol and a wide variety of drugs, this is an area of significant concern [2–9]. The aim of this study was to collect data on the range of medications taken and the size of the problem.
