Popis: | Multidrug resistance (MDR) to a variety of anti-cancer drugs may be exhibited by tumour cells expressing the MDRI gene product P170 glycoprotein [1, 2]. A number of agents, eg Verapamil, Quinidine and Cyclosporin A, compete with P170 for receptors on the plasma membrane vesicles active in drug transport and thus inhibit drug efflux from cells [3]. |
