To overthrow feeble tensile strength, steel bars are encapsulated to create a composite material called Reinforced Concrete (RC). The allowance cost of reinforced concrete is actually modest crimped steel fibres are worned to raise its ductility by uniting internal cracks. The main criterion worked in this study is M30 grade concrete with 8% replacement of cement by silica fume. Crimped steel fibres with 50 mm length and four volume fractions of 0.5%, 1%, 1.5% and 2% are used. This paper tells us an experimental study on compressive, flexural and split tensile strength at the age of 7 and 28 days. |
