Popis: Hydrologic parameters computed on the basis of tritium data were correlated with hydrologic, lithologic and structural features in the basin. In its northern part, average groundwater velocity, porosity and effective thickness of the aquifer were found to be of the order of 70 ft./day, 1% and 2 ft., respectively. These parameters were tested by a one-dimensional time-dependent dispersion equation. The observed trends and magnitudes of tritium variations in well water were reproduced. The average dispersion constant was found to be 70 ± 5 ft. A quantitative analysis of hydrologic parameters for the central part of the basin is restricted by lack of available data.
