Annotation: Вackground. Diabetes mellitus increases the risk of heart and vascular disease and death. Early identification of susceptible individuals will allow more effective prevention of this disease. Purpose of the study. To study the relationship of rs2464196 of the HNF1A gene by polymorphic variants with type 2 diabetes mellitus in combination with coronary heart disease. Materials and methods. The study studied the frequencies of the rs2464196 genotypes of the HNF1A gene by polymorphic variants in patients with coronary heart disease and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Genotyping was performed using the Realtime PCR method (TaqMan probes, Applied Biosystems, USA) on an ABI 7900HT device in accordance with the manufacturer's protocol. Results and conclusions. The study established the risk role of the AA rs2464196 genotype of the HNF1A gene in relation to diabetes mellitus in patients with coronary artery disease. |
