Access and use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) provides an opportunity for people with or without disability to communicate and interact. Virtual worlds may also be a means of empowerment for develop some skills and overcome some difficulties. This paper presents a design project where the goal was to develop a virtual world for supporting interaction of children with dyslalia. Dyslalia is pronunciation disorders and the most common problems in children. The main idea is to studying advantages of virtual worlds and how approaches it to additional resource in therapy of children with dyslalia. Over the years has been notorious acceptance that virtual worlds have had from users, reason why this work seeks to design and develop a prototype of virtual world according to the needs involved in dyslalia therapies. |
