Popis: A new method of the measurement and evaluation of piezoelectric vibration and material using a fiber-optic ring interferometer is described. The value corresponding to the piezoelectric d-, and g-constant can be measured locally by making the measurement of amplitude and Q-value at the first resonance and by considering the electric condition of the mode. The acoustic velocity of a disk transducer can also be evaluated without the measurement of Poisson's ratio of the material by analyzing the phase shift of vibration that can be measured only by the optical method. >
