Popis: | This article presents some considerations on the radiation and thermal analyses, as well as the design of the mechanical structure which must actuate the shutter to open and close; releasing or blocking the passage of synchrotron light coming from the particle accelerator. The main goal is to absorb and dissipate the beam energy without using a cooling fluid. |
