Popis: This paper discusses how the forms of stereotyping and prejudiced feelings are produced by focusing on the images of toys and dolls dolls. It discusses how these stereotypical effects on children's subjectivities, analyzing the discourses on childhood ethnic differences. As a method, used a planking qualitative discourse analysis. The research was conducted in a public school in the municipal schools of Porto Alegre (RS). Attended the proposed twenty six children, aged seven and eight in five weekly meetings, held from March to May 2011. We used a small collection of fourteen different dolls and puppets, they deconstruct stereotypes. The results show that the image of these dolls favors deconstruction of prejudices and stereotypes.
