Popis: | 422 medical personnel employed by the United States Navy were administered the Adult Form of the Coopersmith Self-esteem Inventory. In comparison to Coopersmith's 1981 normative sample, the current sample was substantially larger, geographically heterogeneous, and more reflective of the current national population. Analysis suggests small but consistent increases in mean self-esteem scores across all subgroups. Nonetheless, data from the current study are quite consistent with the findings from Coopersmith's 1981 normative sample. |
