Popis: We present a novel and very general method for extracting the centre‐of‐mass differential cross section (DFCS) from crossed laser molecular beam time of flight data. Our method employs the fact that for the counts in each time bin the DFCS is detected only locally in the dependent variables (such as angular and energy dependence in the centre‐of‐mass frame). Combined with the technique of Gaussian Integration, this leads to a powerful scheme for extracting the DFCS to an arbitrary precision subject to the experimental error.
