The investigation was carried out in the company Induamerica SAC, located at km 775 Lambayeque highway, which is dedicated to rice piling. The main problem is in the production area, where a series of production wastes or wastes originate, such as line failures, product reprocessing, lack of raw materials, among other causes; so the main objective of the present research is to propose a system of continuous improvement based on the philosophy of total productive maintenance, to reduce waste, involving staff within the improvement system, to achieve a process in an orderly and efficient manner, achieving decrease costs and exercise control of the areas involved as well as increase the availability of equipment. The type of research is applied descriptive and the design is not experimental. In the present study the population is made up of all the processes of the production area, the sample is non-probabilistic, which involves the most critical process of the production area of the company Induamerica SAC. The instruments that were applied were surveys and questionnaires. With respect to waste reduction, observation and documentary analysis were also applied, which allowed obtaining more information about the company's problems. The result was the proposal of a continuous improvement system based on Total Productive Maintenance to increase the productivity of the company Induamerica SAC. The following conclusion was reached; to propose a system of total maintenance, which will allow the production line to be carried out efficiently, avoid continuous stops and thus reduce waste, thus increasing productivity. |
