Popis: In this paper we shall consider the changes taking place in the physicomechanical properties and structure of molybdenum single crystals as these undergo deformation in the course of forging and wire-drawing. The samples for study consisted of molybdenun single crystals grown in specific crystallographic directions, [100], [110], [111], and obtained from metal powder by the method described earlier [1], The single crystals were subjected to various degrees of reduction (50, 75, 90%) in the course of forging.
