In this research, the panoramic image with distance information is introduced in order to realize the distance from the image used for the robot monitoring system. The most important thing to acquire depth information from the camera is how certainly the distance data were detected from the image that has only 2D information, and the zoom-lens camera is applied in which the depth information is obtained from zoom and focus position. The new idea of gained-focus detecting method using color image and the characteristic of color histogram is proposed and verified by the experimental result. |
