| Popis: | Mucinous rectal carcinoma is morphologic subtype of Colorectal carcinoma. Both colloid ( mucin lakes ) and intracellular mucin ( signet ring cells ) are relatively rare. Various studies have been done to know whether palliative or radical treatment beneficial in treatment of advanced stage colorectal carcinoma. In our institute, we studied the prognostic factors in a case of 26 yr female in which abdominoperineal resection with endcolostomy with B/L salpingoohrectomy was done for stage 4 rectal carcinoma with synchronous secondaries in B/L ovaries. |
