This paper presents a new method of eliminating the circulating currents that occur in the directly parallel converters (DPC), while each converter supplies an unequal current. The paper proposes the new model of the converter in 0-axis using Fourier transforms and separating the models in 0-axis to 0d- and 0 q -axis. The new model designs the circulating current controller (CCC) to control the modulation signal of each converter in the DPC to be equal, which will result in no circulating current flow between the converters. From the simulation results, it can be confirmed that the proposed model can work like the average model used in general. And by simulation, it can be seen that the proposed CCC can control the circulating current in DPC to zero, although each of the converters that are direct paralleled will supply many different currents. In addition, the current generated from each converter is also sinusoidal. |
