Popis: The crucial aim of this study is to identify the constitutional basis of forest law. The Polish Constitution does not contain – as some of the basic laws of the EU Member States – regulations expressly concerning forests, their protection or their management. This does not mean, however, that there is lack of normative basis relevant to forests and forest law in The Constitution. Such regulations emerge from these regulations of The Constitution, which directly relate to the environment and its protection. This is due to the fact, that forests are an integral part of the environment.
