Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, Pearson product movement correlation, one-way and two-way ANOVA, and Chi-square test. The result of the study showed that there was a significant difference between the level of achievement in socio-economic status and emotional intelligence and also found to be significantly correlated with emotional intelligence but not in socio-economic status with the accomplishments of the athletes.
