The purpose of this study was to investigate how to impact the socio-economic status and emotional intelligence on sports achievements among college-level track and field athletes. The sample of the study consisted of two hundred and eleven (N = 211) female athletes who were selected from the colleges excelling in track and field athletics under the different universities in Kerala, India. In this study, a standardized questionnaire was used for assessing the socio-economic status and emotional intelligence of women track and field athletes. Data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, Pearson product movement correlation, one-way and two-way ANOVA, and Chi-square test. The result of the study showed that there was a significant difference between the level of achievement in socio-economic status and emotional intelligence and also found to be significantly correlated with emotional intelligence but not in socio-economic status with the accomplishments of the athletes.
