Popis: | This paper proposes a compact smart antenna system placed on a circular ground plane with the capability of focusing the peak gain or the null in the radiation pattern of the antenna array in any given direction in the 3-dimensional space around the array. The primary motivation of this design is to provide a smart antenna system that will be instrumental in interference mitigation by pointing the radiation nulls toward interferers as well as improving the probability of detection of an incoming signal by pointing the beam in the desired direction. |
