Popis:	The use of skill-mix in dentistry, where different members of the dental team use different skills, is well established in the UK and practices elsewhere. The rationale for using a skill-mix is to improve efficiency and access, although the extent to which this is undertaken internationally is subject to considerable variation. Interestingly, it has been estimated that in the UK 70% of all visits and 60% of all clinical time in primary care could be provided by dental therapists.
