Popis: The concluding chapter reflects on the methodological challenges and research experiences set out in the substantive chapters of the book. This chapter reviews common issues in relation to ethics and digital traceability, the practical challenges of researching digital work, and the new skills researchers must develop in order to embrace these challenges and generate impactful research. It also reviews the current intensification of digital work, particularly in light of the global Covid-19 pandemic. In these challenging times, digital work has changed in complex, unpredictable, and nuanced ways. Researchers are encouraged to produce perspectives on the inequalities across the field of digital work, to capture experiences of digital work across the spectrum, and to develop insights into evolving organization. The chapter ends by considering the future of research methods for digital work and organization and discusses where the methods showcased in this book provide a basis for researchers to rise to the coming challenges.
