Popis: | The design of the size of the echo spot on a quadrant detector, a key technical problem in auto-tracking technology, is presented. The relationships between the spot size and the shape of the tracking field of view are determined, and the relationships between the spot size and the tracking sensitivity, as well as angular tracking error, are discussed. It is concluded, that to keep the spot size constant, automatic focusing of the topics is required during tracking. |
