The Effect of Guided Imaginative Strategy on Developing Listening Comprehension, among Sixth Grade FemAle Students in Jordan

Popis: This study aimed at investigating the effect of the guided imagination strategy on the development of listening comprehension among grade six femAle students in Jordan. The sample of the study consisted of (40) students, which had been distributed into two groups, one experimentAl and one control group. A pre- listening comprehension test was applied to both groups. The experimentAl group were taught for a period of (40) day using the guided imagination strategy while applying activities and following a teacher's guide previously prepared by the researchers for the implementation of the strategy. Within the same period, the control group studied according to the traditionAl strategy. A post-listening comprehension test was administered on both groups at the completion of the intervention. The results of ANCOVA test showed a statisticAlly significant difference at (α = 0.05) between the two groups in favor of the experimentAl group due to the effect of the guided imagination strategy.
