Popis: The Rev. Jesse Jackson, charismatic and savvy in his command of Black rhetoric, speaks to a variety of audiences and is consistent in his discourse of promoting a pluralistic view. An objective comparable to that of Afrocentricity, this research examines four of Jackson’s speech texts to discover if his present rhetoric indeed reflects the criteria proposed by Asante (1987) to qualify it as Afrocentric discourse.
