Popis: | Wind turbine dynamics is of crucial importance for the design of safe and reliable wind turbines. Imprecise modelling of the dynamics may lead to incorrect design of the controller and raises the probability of resonance to occur between subsystems. This paper resumes the main mode of vibrations of a wind turbine and describes how experimental data is used at Alstom Wind to increase the accuracy of the model. Results show that is possible to accurately tune the model with a few simple measurements. Conclusions are then drawn on acquisition of measurement data, identificability of turbine modes and validity of the numerical model, and the potentials of system identification techniques are addressed. |
