Popis: | Utilizing solid waste for energy production is very beneficial for urban and rural civilization. Biogasifier provides as an alternate energy for cooking in college hostels, industry canteen and rural India. In this research vegetable waste and cowdung are mixed with different ratio of water (5, 10, 15, and 20 L). Temperature and pH values are noted and on daily basis for 60 days. By using water displacement method biogas production was measured and recorded. The current research work is carried out on Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology, Chennai for 60 days. The result shows that BG 1 and BG 2 shows the high respiratory substrate. From cumulative data it is clearly understand that BG 2 produces high biogas for the whole experiment and the ratio maintained for cowdung, vegetable waste and water is 1:1:2 to obtain the better results. BG 4 have the last day pH value of 6.9 which is near to normal and satisfy the condition of digestion process. |
