Popis: | Depression affects a high share of society worldwide and in 2020 it may become the second leading cause of global disease burden. Depression is commonly associated with stress, which can emerge in individual, social and psychological contexts. By selecting animals with high (HI) and low (LI) immobility on the tail suspension test (TST), a behavioral despair procedure and a common tool for assessing antidepressant drugs effects, we aim to investigate the cytokines profile of behavioral selected male mice pre and post 2 h of restraint stress during three days (protocol #3925110614). The results show that mice with HI and LI in the TST ( p p p = 0.0062) and IL-1B in prefrontal cortex ( p = 0.0238). The two-way ANOVA also revealed differences between HI and LI groups in IL-1B expression on the hippocampus ( p p |
