Popis: An effort is made to subject to empirical test the assumption that a large amount of guilt is associated with segregation. Subjects are students in a southern university. It is argued that, inasmuch as "the American Creed" is not the only set of relevant norms, the assumption represents a drastic simplification of the normative dimensions of the race issue.
