Popis: | There is a high interbreeding genetic variability found in the contemporary breed of Kyrgyz horses. One hundred and fifty-four alleles, including rare 59 ones, in 17 STR loci were identified. We found new rare alleles for 15 loci, including AHT4, AHT5, ASB2, ASB17, ASB23, CA425, HMS1, HMS2, HMS3, HMS6, HMS7, HTG4, HTG6, HTG7 and HTG10. The greatest genetic variability among four geographically separated zones in Talas, Osh, and Naryn regions under study was found in horses of Kyrgyz breed from the village of Tash-Bashat (Naryn region) with the largest mean count of alleles (8.294 ± 0.561), effective alleles (5.009 ± 0.416), Shannon biodiversity index (1.745 ± 0.076), and expected heterozygosity (0.773 ± 0.020). |
