Popis: Acomputer simulation of the utilization of cotton gin trash as a fuel supplement for a coal-fired power plant is described. In this simulation, a total of 225,580 metric tons of gin trash were delivered and burned in slightly less than 352 days. The cost of producting elec-tricity with gin trash ranged from $0.71 to $1.00 per nJ. Profits of up to $2.64 per bale were realized by gins nearest the power plant.
