Popis: This article describes work with minicomputers to control sound synthesis systems that function in real time. The particular system utilized for the present research is the Synclavier, made by New England Digital Corporation, Norwich, Vermont. This system comprises a 32-Kword, 16-bit minicomputer with a programmable clock, a 16-channel digital synthesizer with four audio outputs, and a module for up to 16 analog inputs built by Didier Roncin.
