Approximate methods of determining the heat capacity of polymers

Popis: Various approximate methods of determining the heat capacity of polymers are considered. A method of determining the heat capacity at low temperatures is proposed on the basis of the quantum theory equations for heat capacity. It is shown that the degree of agreement between the values of heat capacity, calculated from the Einstein and Tarasov equations in the temperature range 30–300 K, and the experimental values is determined by the rigidity of the polymer's macromolecules in the solid condensed state.
