Popis: | This paper presents a miniaturized electromagnetic cloaking scheme in the microwave frequency regime using cylindrically arranged dogbone metallic inclusions. Multipole scattering theory has been utilized to extract the true reason behind cloaking mechanism. It is found that the strong excitation of magnetic resonance along with the non resonant excitation of electric dipole moments significantly reduce far-field scattering from the structure. The invisibility mechanism is experimentally proved using backscattering measurements and are validated using full-wave simulation studies. |
