A New Control Instrument for Micro Simulation Asynchronous Motor Unit Based on PMU Light Data

Popis: Micro simulation asynchronous motor unit is used to simulate the real asynchronous motor load, which is an important component of the micro dynamic simulation laboratory of power system. The real-time and accuracy of monitoring and control of micro simulation asynchronous motor will affect the results of micro dynamic simulation experiments directly. This paper designs and implements an integrated control instrument for micro simulation asynchronous motor unit (ICIMSAM). ICIMSAM consists of data communication unit, power amplifier unit, data processing unit, power supply unit, operation execution unit and liquid crystal display unit, realizing the functions of real-time running state monitoring, automatic starting/stopping and automatic power regulation for the motor unit. Light synchronized phasor measurement unit (PMU Light) is employed to get the real-time operation information of the micro simulation asynchronous motor unit. Real-time operation information includes three-phase frequency, voltage amplitude, voltage phasor, current amplitude, current phasor, which would be sent from the PMU Light to ICIMSG through the ethernet network. Appropriate software was developed on server to communicate with ICIMSG in a two-way manner through the network. Four group of micro dynamic simulation experiments have been completed to test the functions of ICIMSAM.
