Popis: | Post-operative liver enzyme elevation is usually a result of use of hepatotoxic drugs (anesthetics or antibiotics), ischemic hepatitis or infective viral hepatitis. Dengue infection, acquired prior to admission, has not previously been reported as a cause of post-operative liver enzyme elevation. We report a case of 25-year-old male who developed fever and liver enzyme elevation of third postoperative day after a neuro-surgical procedure and was found to be due to dengue hepatitis. |
