Much has changed since the case study was conducted which informed the project. With the world facing the COVID-19 pandemic, higher education and student affairs have been challenged to meet the needs of students while protecting the health and safety of an entire campus. In addition, the social unrest and violence in response to racial disparities in the U.S. have shifted the ways higher education leaders navigated institutional vitality and longevity. The post-script will outline how the uncertainties of 2020 highlight the limitations of narrowed measures of success while exacerbating long-standing issues of equity in higher education. |
