Popis: | Service identification (SI) is one of the challenging activities in developing service oriented models. Many service identification approaches have been proposed in literature ranging from top-down to bottom-up. However, the literature lacks enough research in the field of validating service identification approaches themselves. Most of the available techniques to validate SI approaches are theoretical in nature and uses case studies and/or examples to explain the approach’s features. In this paper, we present a technique to validate the execution behavior of Service Identification approaches using a reversed affinity analysis method. This method is used to validate the granularity level, cohesion and low coupling of the identified services. The proposed technique is demonstrated using one of the SI approaches and is deployed on a real case study from the healthcare domain. |
