Popis: | Electron observations in the outer radiation belt are used to determine minimum disturbed conditions of the magnetosphere. The least disturbed periods occur only when a northward interplanetary magnetic field is associated with a minimum in the solar wind velocity, the solar wind velocity appearantly being a dominant factor. |
