Popis: | An efficient chemosensor based on ruthenium(II) complex, 6′,7′-bis-(phenylsulfonamido)-quinoxaline-[2′,3′-d]-1,10-phenanthroline-[5,6] di-2,2′-bipyridine Ru(II) bis-perchlorate, had been successfully synthesized and applied to the anion recognition. The anion binding ability determinations were performed by UV–vis, fluorescene and 1 H NMR titration experiments in dimethyl sulfoxide and water solution. Results indicated that the origin of special preference for fluoride (F − ), acetate (AcO − ) anion may be the structure well matching between the host and the guest. Also, interferential experiment showed high binding ability of this sensor with F − or AcO − was not influenced by the existence of other anions. At the same time, the possible interaction mechanism was expounded through theoretical investigations. The sensor changed its color so obviously upon addition of the acetate ions that the naked-eye recognition in DMSO and even in DMSO/H 2 O (95/5), DMSO/H 2 O (90/10) solution came true, and thus could be used as a chromophore sensor. |
