Popis:	1. The volume activation effect in forward and reverse Diels-Alder reactions does not depend on the electron-donor or electron-acceptor character of the substituent, nor on its strength or its position in the diene. 2. In the absence of significant solvation effects, the Hammettρ-constants of Diels-Alder reactions are independent of the pressure. 3. The probable volume profile of the reactions is discussed.
