This study examines a 110 kV two-circuit line that supplies drilling rigs, submersible motors, oil, or water. The main parameters of lightning, the consequences of lightning strike in the support and the means of preventing lightning overvoltages are indicated. EMTP simulated OHL for lightning overvoltage calculations. Lightning protection of 110 kV overhead lines was analyzed when installing insulators on one of the circuits and without them. |
