Popis: | This investigation focused on building level problemsolving teams designed to provide services to students experiencing academic and/or behavior problems. Issues related to team composition and procedures, potential problem areas, and team effectiveness were studied. Differences related to school size and organization, the nature of the school population, and level of school organization (elementary and secondary) also were considered. A five-part questionnaire developed by the authors was completed by 46 coordinators of building problem-solving teams. Results are presented and discussed within the context of such teams as part of a prereferral process; recommendations for administrators and teachers responsible for the organization and implementation of problem-solving teams are provided. |
