Popis:	Muscle spindles are mechanoreceptors with dynamic and static function. The dynamic function is ascribed to the Bag 1 and the static to the Bag 2 and chain fibers (Boyd and Gladden, 1985). The studies on the measurement of strain developed by the intrafusal fibers under static conditions showed that the values varied according to the region of the spindle and type of the fiber (Poppele et al., 1979).
