Popis: Concern over the possibility of groundwater contamination by agricultural pesticide (Chlorothalonil) applications stimulated this study in the sensitive Pine Barrens overlying the Cohansey aquifer. Wells of three depths were emplaced in an experimental cranberry bog and weekly surface and groundwater samples were taken as well as soil cores and mature cranberries for extraction and analysis of residues of the Chlorothalonil. It was concluded that there is little risk of chlorothalonil contamination.
