Popis: | Cardiac herniation and torsion may rarely occur following lobectomy with partial pericardectomy. High index of suspicion is required to diagnose this near fatal event. We report an unusual case of acute right sided cardiac dextroversion with torsion in a 58-year-old female following a right lower lobectomy, pericardectomy, and excision of infiltrated part of right hemi diaphragm for recurrent soft tissue fibrosarcoma. |
