Image encryption is a technique used to maintain the image confidentiality. Trust is needed to create and maintain in the cloud at the user and service provider end. The existing image encryption methods are using a map structure and s-box designs. While processing all the contents in cloud, it takes more resource and time to process. Directly, as part of the process it will make some delay in sending the image from user to cloud. Indirectly it will create the queue for next users; it will result in lack of cloud performance. This denotes that image encryption and decryption algorithms need to be redefined with lightweight approach for the cloud purpose with the same or improved security level. These things are taken into consideration in the proposed Multi-Dimensional Encryption and Decryption Method design. The proposed method is using the image pixel shuffling, image pixel reversing, image pixel reshuffling, and image pixel re-reversing concepts. The standard and non-standard grayscale images have been used for testing to analyze the performance and efficiency of proposed method. |
