The study found that there is no uniformity among the States in determining the limitation period of the convert. Thus, the study suggests a limit period of up to eight (8) years to measure the understanding, strengthening and stability of one’s Islamic convert by looking at an individual’s transition period from the age of puberty mumayyiz so that a period of learning and understanding knowledge of religion before Islam put the responsibility completely to on the individual.
