Popis: | In this paper, a quad band-notched ultra-wideband monopole antenna design is proposed. The quad band-notch design is achieved by etching a pair of π-shaped slots on the radiating patch and by a pair of EBG cells coupled on both sides of the feed line. The antenna with this arrangement occupies a 28 × 30 mm2 surface area, producing notch frequencies at 3.5 GHz, 4.2 GHz, 5.7 GHz, and 9.1 GHz with an impedance bandwidth of 3–11. 4 GHz for VSWR |
