Popis: | The aim of this review paper is to provide the broad information on erosion behaviour of plant based fiber reinforced polymer composites. Attention is paid to the influence of process parameters such as incident angle, impact velocity, erodent characteristics and the failure mechanism due to erosion are discussed. The statistical techniques used for parameter studies is presented. Further the review extends on the numerical simulations performed to find out the erosion characteristics is also discussed in this review article. This review paper gives an overview of the selection of process parameters for erosion wear performance of plant based fiber reinforced polymer composites. |
