Popis: | The influence of the Ultem-1010 polyetherimide (PEI) on the physicomechanical properties of the ED-20 epoxy matrix and carbon-fiber-reinforced plastics (CFRP) based on the epoxy-polyetherimide binders is studied. It is shown that the introduction of PEI allows one to increase the impact strength and fracture toughness of the matrix 70 and 350%, respectively. The fracture toughness of the CFRP increases 40% with the rise in the PEI concentration. The correlation between the fracture toughness of the composites and their matrices has been established. |
